Question of the day: What do plants need to grow?

Math Make math flowers. Choose random numbers 1-10 and draw the correct number of petals on a stem. For an added challenge make math equations using the flower petals to help you add/subtract.
Art: Dip the bottom of a pop bottle or water bottle in paint and print onto paper. Add stems and leaves.
Writing/Letters/Sounds: Put these flowers/Plnats in ABC order: Zinnia, Tulip, Rose, Azalea, Daisy, Cala lily, Petunia, Sunflower, Geranium, Bean, Dalia, Fern, Hyacinth, Lilac.
Science: Make a see through garden. Place some dirt in a jar or cut the top half off of a plastic bottle. Plant some seeds (bean or grass grow fast) and watch them grow.

Question of the day: Do all birds fly?
Religion: Draw a picture of Mary and a dove
Math: Make shapes using sticks (real sticks, popscicle sticks or toothpicks). Name the shapes you make.
Writing/letters/sounds: Sky writing. Lay on the ground and choose a letter card. Draw the letter in the sky with your finger.
Art: Make paper tube birds. Decorate paper tubes with feathers (real or paper) add wings by tracing and cutting out your hands. Add wiggle eyes if you have them.
Science: Research which birds do not fly. Draw a picture of one or two.

Question of the day: What do caterpillars eat. ?
Art: egg carton caterpillars or bugs. Cut an egg carton into a caterpillar (4 or 5 cups) and decorate to look like a caterpillar. Add pipe cleaners or straws for antennae. Add wiggle eyes. You can also make lady bugs by cutting out one cup and decorating to look like a lady bug.
Religion: Pray the Hail, Holy Queen prayer with your family.

Writing/Letters/Sounds: Practice writing the letter E e and the letter I i
Math: Size comparison. Gather up 10 rocks and sort by size.
Science: The life cycle of a butterfly. Use the template found on the recipes and more page to recall the story of The Hungry Caterpillar and discuss the life cycle from egg to butterfly.

Zoom meeting at 8:30 PAJAMA PARTY AND SHOW AND TELL
Art: Make a paper plate or coffee filter butterfly.
Religion: Make a Mary grotto on paper using craft sticks or real sticks and pebbles. Make a house shape out of the sticks. Glue pebbles onto the sticks. Print off your favorite image of Mary and place in the middle of the house shape. Add a pretty ribbon to the top if you wish. Decorate with flower stickers if you have them.
Math: Practice writing your numbers 1-20.
